Candace Patterson is a Global Human Resources Professional with over 20 years' experience in diverse industries including retail, pharmaceuticals, biologics, financial services and health care. Candace has consulted with business leaders and led complex organizational changes, with comprehensive HR experience in Organization Design, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Relations, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She is currently a Senior Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Consultant at BJC Health System, where she works with business leaders and HR teams to advance DEI & Belonging across the organization.
Candace is a mentor for the NHRA (National Human Resources Association) for early HR professionals, and for MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences) members and students as they focus on their professional careers. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, where she has dedicated years of public service and held leadership roles. Candace now serves as one of the Co-Vice Presidents of Community Outreach & External Affairs for the Society of Multicultural Professionals in Human Resources (SMPHR).
Candace holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Stillman College. She is DDI (Development Dimensions International) and ELI (Employment Learning Innovations) certified and a PROSCI Change Management Champion.
Candace enjoys working with youth, non-profit and community-based organizations. She spends her free time traveling, mentoring, and bowling.
