Before you join.

When does my membership start?
Immediately upon payment. You'll get welcome email access within minutes.
Are meeting fees included?
Most member events are free for members. A small number of signature events carry a fee — always discounted significantly vs. non-member pricing.
Can my company pay for my membership?
Yes. Many SMPHR members are reimbursed by their employer as professional development. We can send an itemized receipt and a one-pager explaining the value if it helps your case.
How do I renew?
Memberships are annual. You'll get a reminder 30 days before expiration with a one-click renewal link.
Can I attend an event before joining?
Yes — many of our open events welcome non-members at a small guest fee. It's the best way to meet the community before joining.
